Day 29: A Prayer of Hope for the Future of Survivors
“Where there is hope, there’s life. It fills us with fresh courage and makes us strong again.” – Anne Frank
Your Word says that hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. (Pro. 13:12) You know the longings in the hearts of every survivor of sex trafficking. You are aware of every hope deferred along their difficult journey. But God, you will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish. (Ps. 9:18) God our Savior, you are the hope of all the ends of the earth. (Ps. 65:5) Fill these survivors with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit they may abound in hope. (Ro. 15:13) Lord, they have overcome horrific obstacles. Give them courage to dream again. In the name of Jesus’ I pray. Amen.
