8 States Urged to Take Action Against Human Trafficking

Human trafficking happens in every state in America. But as the Polaris Project’s 2013 State Ratings on Human Trafficking Laws showed some victims have a better chance of rebuilding their lives than others, simply because of the laws in the state where they escaped.

This is unjust. Where you escape should not dictate how you are treated.

Your help is needed to get laws passed in the states that need them most. Supporters are needed in these states to get involved in improving victim assistance laws in their communities. Reach out to any friends who live in these 8 states: Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota or South Dakota. Ask them to sign up to learn how they can help today.
