The Montana Department of Justice unveiled a campaign aimed at raising awareness about human trafficking happening in Montana. The poster created for the campaign displays the state’s human trafficking hotline number and will be posted, as required by law, at every Montana rest stop. It serves as a resource to victims and those who want to report suspicions of trafficking, as well as serving as a deterrent.
Montana is now training all incoming law enforcement how to identify human trafficking and how to handle victims.
