Ohio Toolkit for Serving Human Trafficking Victims

Ohio continues to intensify the fight against human trafficking by investing in new partnerships with service providers,  strengthening the capacity of agencies and first responders, and seeing new community-led anti-trafficking coalitions form throughout the state. Law enforcement partners are more aggressively pursuing traffickers and identifying victims. As public awareness grows, more victims are identified, and the tactics of traffickers evolve, tools must also evolve to respond to the needs of victims This toolkit is not intended as a static document but provides a victim-centered framework and capacity building tool for Ohio’s service providers and coalitions as they work to assist survivors in their own communities.
